- ego-sense, ego-idea.
- the subjective principle that enables beings to have a sense of “I”-ness, and by which the individual soul or cosmic soul (Puruşa) is induced to identify himself with the Primordial or Cosmic Nature (Pakŗitī) and her activities. (also spelt: ahańkāra).
