  1. about whom much is heard; with much reputation
  2. the son of King Somadatta of the Bālhīka kingdom who fought for the Kauravas in the Bharata War, and was illegally wounded from behind by Arjuna and likewise killed by Sātyaki in an unarmed state (M. Bh.); another name for Indra.
