  2. a deer/ antelope; a tiger; a peacock
  3. a warrior killed by Śatrughna during Rāma’s aśvamedha sacrifice (V. Rām.); a son of Dhŗtarāşţra (M. Bh.); the flowering herb Ceylon Leadwort (Plumbago zeylanica).
