- the second son of Dhŗtarāşţra and Gāndhārī after Duryodhana, who is ill-reputed for being responsible for the dastardly attempt to strip Draupadī in public, after pulling her into the Kuru court after the dice game. He was punished for this having his chest split open and his blood drunk by Bhīma in the Bharat War, which the latter had sworn to do.
