Sāyujya

From Hindupedia, the Hindu Encyclopedia

By Swami Harshananda

Sometimes transliterated as: Sayujya, SAyujya, Saayujya

Sāyujya literally means ‘getting united with God’.

In this state of liberation, the jīva gets merged in the Supreme even as a river merges with the sea or ocean.
