Sri Swaminatham sura brunda vandhyam, Bhooloka bhakthan paripalayantham, Sri sahya jatheera nivasa nabdham, Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 1
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha worshipped by all devas,
Who takes care of devotees of the earth,
And who lives in shore of river starting from western ghats.
Sri Swaminatham bishajam varenyam, Soundraya gambheerya vibhooshitham tham, Bhaktharthi vidhravana deekshitham tham., Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 2
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha, the greatest doctor,
Who has a handsome and regal look,
And who has the firm aim of solving devotee’s problems.
Sri Swaminatham sumanojna balam, Sri Parvathi jani guru swaroopam, Sri Veerabhadrathi ganai samedham, Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 3
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha . who is the mind stealing boy,
Who sat as the teacher to the consort of Parvathi,
And who is surrounded by Veerabhadra and other ganas.
Sri Swaminatham sura sainya palam, Suradhi sarvasura soodhakam tham, Virinchi Vishnwadhi sura sevyamanam, Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 4
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha looking after the armies of Devas,
Who killed all asuras including Soora,
And who is served by Brahma, Vishnu and other devas.
Sri Swaminatham Supadam saranyam, Vandaru lokasya sukalpa vruksham, Mandara kundothphala pushpa haram, Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 5
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha showing good ways to those who surrender,
Who is like a wish giving tree to his devotees,
And who wears garland made of Mandhara, Jasmine and other flowers.
Sri Swaminatham vibhudagrya vandhyam, Vidhyadharaditha pada padmam, Aaho payoveevatha nithya thruptham, Vande guham tham guru roopinam na., 6
Salutations to Guha in the form of a teacher,
Who is Swaminatha, saluted by very learned people
Whose lotus feet is worshipped by vidhyadharas,
And who daily gets satisfied by ritual bath of milk.
Sri Ramakrushnaya Yatheendra sishya, Sri Ramachandrena kruthathma sudhyai, Sri swaminadhasyahi shad patheeyam, Ji yathadheeya priyadhayini sri.
This is composed by Ramachandra,
The disciple of the saint Ramakrishna,
And is a sextet praising Lord Swaminatha,
And would devotees reciting it dear to him.
