Verb Root[edit]

Indha is a verb root which belongs to the 7th class (Rudhādi ). It is also referred as aniṭ or ātmanepadin, which is intransitive verb form.

Origin[edit]

It is derived from "indha dyutau" which means 'To set on fire'.[1] The word can have the kta-suffix in present tense, as illustrated in the usage indho'sti.

Representative Form[edit]

Durgadasa gives the representative form inddhe.
