pañcāñgaśuddhi (‘holy period according to the pañcāṅga or almanac’)
Any auspicious rite should be performed when all the five aspects dealt with in a pañcāṅga (Hindu almanac) are deemed as auspicious. This is pañcāṅga-śuddhi.
