Yogamudrā

Sometimes transliterated as: Yogamudra, YogamudrA, Yogamudraa


Mudrās or handposes are common to the images of gods and sages. In the yogamudrā, the left palm facing upwards is kept on the lap of the sitting image with the right one in the same fashion, being placed over it. It indicates deep meditation.
