Sometimes transliterated as: Urvasi, UrvaZI, UUrvashi
Ūrvaśī refers to a damsel in Indraloka (the world of Indra). She is the one who is born out of the thighs of nārāyana.
Gender
Ūrvaśī is a feminine form.
Origin
Ūrvaśī can be split as ūru + Aś + Ac + ṅīp.
