Ilīśaḥ is a masculine form.
Origin
Ilīśaḥ is derived from "ilanti apsu drutaṁ gacchantīti ela drutagāmino matsyāḥ teṣām īśaḥ" which means 'The king of ilas is a kind of fish which moves rapidly in water.
