Ilī is a hand held weapon like a cudgel or a short sword.[1]

Ilī is a feminine form.

Origin

Ilī is extracted from "ila gatau kṣepaṇe" which can be split as ca+ka+ṅīṣ by the rule ‘kṛdikārādaktinaḥ’.
