Sometimes transliterated as: Uttaramimansa, UttaramimAnsA, Uttaramimaansaa


The Vedānta Darśana of Bādarāyaṇa is known as the Uttara-mimānsā. It is a complete antonym to the Mīmānsā Darśana of Jaimini, which is termed the Purva- mīmārhsā.
