Talk:The Two Aspects Of Brahman –(Saguṇa And Nirguna)
From Hindupedia, the Hindu Encyclopedia
By Sri Vishal Agarwal
Bhagavān is often referred to as Brahman, which means the ‘Greatest’ or ‘Supreme’.Brahman is an eternal, unchangeable Supreme Ātmā (Paramātmā), but it also allows us to worship Brahman in many beautiful forms.
Many Śāstras and Sages say that Brahman exists in two different aspects, which are sometimes further classified into five different levels. These two different aspects in which Bhagavān exists are Saguṇa and Nirguṇa. Both Saguṇa and Nirguṇa Brahman are aspects of one and the same Brahman or Bhagavān.[1]. They are like two sides of the same coin.
