Born in 1952 at Nagpur I have done PG in Agricultural Geography and Mass Communication. Worked as Vivekananda Kendra activist in Aruncahal Pradesh and Regional Organizing Secretary of Vidya Bharati in the North-East India regions. Later joined journalism as reporter with The Sentinel in Guwahati, Assam, India. After coming back to Nagpur in 1989, joined The Hitavada, the premier English daily as senior Editor. Edited The Hitavada Sunday Despatch for 10 years and took up as Editor of its Raipur and Jabalpur Editions. Authored authentic book on Christianity The Indian Church elaborating on the idea of separate church for Indian Christians as envisaged by teh then RSS Chief K S Sudarshanji. Also Edited abook :Rashtriya Pariprekshya mein Bharatiya Muslims (Indian Muslims in National Perspective) for facilitating Hindu-Muslim dialoge. Presently associated with Intetrnational Centre for Cultural Studies (ICCS) Bharat as its president. Participated in a number of national and international conferences and published over 500 articles on social, political issues. Received the coveted late Krishnarao Sapre Memorial Vanshree Award for Social Journalism. Special study of janajati (tribal) societies of North-East Bharat. Currently writing as a free lance journalist to various news papers in English, Marathi and Hindi. Conversant with Marathi, Hindi, English, Bangla, Assamese languages.
