Pṛsadajya literally means ‘speckled ghee’.
In Paśuyāgas the pṛṣadājya is an important ingredient that is used to sprinkle over the heart of the animal immolated. It is actually a mixture of ājya or ghee sprinkled with curdled milk. The details of its preparation and use are generally dealt with in the Śrautasutras.
